Car Seat Stuff

Motor vehicle accidents are one of the leading causes of injury and death for young children, but it doesn't have to be that way! That's why I became a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technician through SafeKids Worldwide and am proud to offer consultations, installation education, and car seat fit checks.

During our visit, we'll discuss life saving safety information, register and/or check your seat for recalls, walk through proper harnessing and installation, and make sure you have the knowledge and skills you need to confidently keep your precious cargo safe in the car.

Every ride, every time!

How It Works

And what's our suggested donation "sliding scale?"

CPST work is most often done as a community service, entirely free for the families that need it - made possible by the CPST either offering their time and skills on a volunteer basis or being on staff and paid by an organization (think: police department or hospital).

As a professional nanny, I became a CPST as a result of following my drive for continuing education and my professional passion for keeping kids safe. Seeing the overwhelming demand in the Southern Maine area, I started offering my time on a volunteer basis, but quickly found that model to be unsustainable.

I never want finances to be a barrier that stands in the way of families receiving life-saving information and skills. In an effort to keep offering these services in a sustainable and accessible manner, I'm proud to offer a suggested donation sliding scale for my services, with a suggested range of $0-50+.

No matter how large or small your contribution, know that you're supporting the invaluable work of keeping Maine kids safe for years to come!
